Your Content Rights
You own the content you post on Trail Talk. By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content as part of the Service. You can delete your content at any time.
Copyright Infringement
Do not post content that infringes on others' copyrights, including:

DMCA Compliance
Trail Talk complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you may file a DMCA takedown notice.
Filing a DMCA Notice
Your notice must include:
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- Description of the copyrighted work
- URL or description of the infringing content on Trail Talk
- Statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized
- Statement that the information is accurate and you're authorized to act
- Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notification
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification including:
- Your contact information
- Description of the removed content and its location
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court
- Your physical or electronic signature
Repeat Infringer Policy
We will terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Fair Use
Certain uses of copyrighted material may be considered "fair use" under copyright law, including:
- Commentary or criticism
- News reporting
- Educational purposes
- Parody
However, fair use is determined case-by-case. If unsure, obtain permission from the copyright owner.
Best Practices
- Only post content you created or have permission to use
